While developing a poster commenting on technology and mental health, I spent a lot of time people-watching. The concept for Link emerged while I was sitting at a bus stop, observing nearly 20 people around me—each absorbed in their smartphones. Despite being reliably connected to the world-wide web, they were entirely disconnected from one another and their surroundings.
